If I could give 100 stars I would, this hotel is AMAZING. My husband and I booked this last minute on our way from Porto to Lisbon, we wanted to see the rivers and countryside, and it was the highlight of our trip so far. It is off the beaten path but it is absolutely worth it, rooms are immaculately clean, huge and beautiful, the property is gorgeous and maintained like a pristine Villa, the pool overlooks an amazing valley with crystal clear rivers 5 minutes away, staff is so so friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast is delicious. Really cannot say enough about this place, we only stayed one night but if we would have known about this place sooner we would have stayed MUCH longer and it was so hard to leave, there is so much to explore around. Take the extra trip, it is absolutely worth it.

A historical building (old convent) in a picturesque neighborhood. Decorated with historical artefacts. We spent a lot of time wondering around the building, discovering. Magnificent view from the gardens (vineyard) and swimming pool. Bilard and other games available.

The property was lovely. We were appreciative of the staff’s attention to detail and kindness. The rooms were exceedingly spacious, with plenty of storage. And the views from the pool were million dollar vistas.

It was a very nice stay. We booked it a bit on the spot, and they could fullfill our needs. The breakfast had a variaty of cakes, eggs, bacon and such. It was a pleasant stay.

Comfortable hotel, with very nice overall decoration of a 18th century convent, large spaces (terrace, living room, restaurant). Nice view of the mountains.

Staff was very friendly Very clean Room was huge and we were very comfortable with big areas for us and the kid. Location is central to visit sites in the region
